More About Karla

I understand the overwhelming struggle of navigating life with OCD and anxiety disorders. It's like being trapped in a mind that never stops, a constant whirlwind of 'what if' scenarios that demand your attention. The relentless racing thoughts can leave you feeling paralyzed by fear and distress, creating a daily battle that drains you both mentally and physically.

Living in this perpetual state of anxiety often leads to isolation. You find yourself canceling plans, falling behind at work, or avoiding places that trigger panic attacks. It's a lonely road that keeps you from the joy of connecting with others, making it difficult to maintain relationships and hindering your ability to enjoy the things you once loved.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based techniques, particularly Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), to help you break free from the cycle of rumination, compulsions, and avoidance. Together, we'll work towards reclaiming a life where you can pursue your passions with confidence and feel more grounded in your daily experiences.
