  1. Identify characteristics of child, teen, and adult grief and discuss differences in age groups.

  2. Discuss the physiological and psychological responses of grief and how to develop coping skills.

  3. Discuss techniques and strategies for mental health professionals to use with clients who are grieving.

More about Bryna

Bryna Talamantez is the owner of Talamantez Therapy. She attended SMU to get a BA in Psychology followed by her MS in Counseling. Bryna has extensive grief experience both personally and professionally. She has attended conferences for the Association of Death Educators and Counselors, where she has also presented, and the National Alliance for Child Grief. Bryna specializes in seeing kids 2 and up, teens, and young adults who are navigating grief, ADHD, anxiety, and life transitions.
